Farrah Abraham Life
Farrah
is an aspiring model. Farrah Abraham is
the mother of Sophia Laurent Abraham. She is the star of Teen Mom. She got
pregnant at the age of 16. Her daughter is Sophia Laurent Abraham, whose
father, Derek Underwood. Derek was killed in a car accident on December 28,
2008. He was killed months after her birth.
In
January 2010, Farrahs’ mom was charged with assault in a lowa court for hitting
her. They fight with each other and as a result, Farrah and Sophia move into an
apartment.
Designer
Lilly Pulitzer dies was different from Farrahs’.
Farrah
eventually proves to Derek's family through a paternity test that Derek was in
fact Sophia's father, and then is faced with a lawsuit filed by Derek's mother
for grandparents' visitation rights, despite no previous contact with Sophia.
August
2012, she published her autobiography “My Teenage Dream Ended”.
While
promoting her new book she admitted that her worst depression occurred three
years ago.
What happened three years ago?
“All
I could think about was killing myself”, she said. The death of her boyfriend
causes her so much depression it came to the point that he considered suicide,
abuse of using drugs. She locked herself and Sophia in their house for three full days.
Raising Sophia alone, coupled with the tragic death of her ex, Derek Underwood,
in a car accident when she was pregnant, was too much to tolerate.
She turned alcohol and drugs to numb the pain.
'When I drank, I'd be happy for 10 minutes,'
Farrah said.
'When I got high, I'd feel a sense of
nothingness for about an hour. But in the end, my negative emotions always came
rushing back.
She even thinking drown herself in the bathtub, for
her it’s the easiest way to go. Farrah
says about her ex-boyfriend, they hadn’t spoke for more than two months after
he died but it’s crazy because she still hoped they had a future together.
Just like designer Lilly
Pulitzer dies her family and friends was on grief of her death.
How she coped on depression?
The thought
of leaving her daughter helped pull Abraham through the suicidal thoughts. She didn’t want to leave her daughter with no
parents.
He
thought about her daughter. She realized how her daughter will raise with no
parents.
"I
didn't want her to have to feel the way that I was feeling," Abraham
explained.
She’s’
been to therapy and medication to help herself get back on track. She diagnosed
with clinical depression and with session with counsellor. Eventually Abraham was able to help for her
depression and divert her in writing about the benefits of therapy and
antidepressants in her memoir.
My Opinion
What
she been through was never easy. The life of Farrah was never been easy. It’s
not easy to raise a child with your own, with no partner. And the worst case,
her boyfriend died after she gave birth.
Loosing
special is someone is not easy. You don’t know how to handle pain and the
emptiness. It’s very hard when you miss that special someone. You want that
special someone at your side in time of ups and downs but it’s impossible
because he’s not around now.
Alcohol
and drugs might be helpful to numb the pain but it will take an hour. After
that in the end, everything always came back.
She may
be selfish but it was not her intention. Everything she been through was out of
control.
It’s
a relief that Farrah realized about her daughter. And help herself out in
negative situation for the sake of her daughter.
Life
is a mess, but it’s up to you how you clean the mess. It’s hard to cope with
depression but you know little by little it will go.
I
respect Farrah. Farrah straightened out her life. She's finished school,
working, raising her daughter.
Farrah’s
confession was brave. For those single mom or got pregnant at an early age,
take Farrah’s as an example. She fights all the way for daughter’s sake.
Designer
Lilly Pulitzer dies, she’s been very happy while she’s alive.
Life
is a maze. So better live life to the fullest. Life must go on.
