Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is the number one-tourist attraction in Vermont. Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is an American ice cream company that manufactures ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and ice cream novelty products.

Ben and Jerry completed correspondence course on ice cream which led them to make their own ice cream.

Ben and Jerry Ice Cream Factory began making their ice cream in 1978.  They invested and ice cream parlor in a renovated gas station in downtown Burling, Vermont with a $12,000. After a month they closed down realizing they didn’t making any profit.

In 1979 is their ice cream anniversary. As an anniversary treat special they are holding the first ever free cone day.

Free Cone day became an annual celebration internationally. This event held between late March and early May. Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory give out free ice cream cups and cones. The company prompting an ad slogan “Be One In A Million” so over one million free cones are given each year.

Did you know that Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory was the first brand-name to be taken into space aboard? Yes they are the first brand-name, they taken into space abroad the Space Shuttle.

If you notices most of the cruise ships of the Royal Caribbean International have a Ben and Jerry’s scoop shop on board.

Ben and Jerry’s ice cream Factory was used to build the world’s largest ice cream sundae back in 1983. Ben and Jerry’s ice cream Factory began to make a name in the US actually in 1988 the pair won the title of U.S. Small Business Persons of the Year.

They made brownies which become popular for Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavour. In 2012, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory released a new Greek Frozen Yogurt line which come in yummy flavours.  The strawberry shortcake, blueberry Vanilla Graham, Raspberry Fudge Chunk, Banana Peanut Butter and Vanilla.

In the celebration of the legalization of same-sex marriage they made a Chubby hubby which renamed it to Hubby Hubby. Hubby Hubby consists of vanilla malt ice cream swirled with fudge and peanut butter and containing pretzel covered in fudge and filled with peanut butter. Wow lots of seasonings…

If you are curious and interested in Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory they offer a tour for tourists.

The tour consists of a short video presentation followed by a walk through the factory to see the ice cream-making process. I made a survey which part of the tour is their favourite. Well, most of them said the favourite part of the tour comes at the end when two rich and creamy samples are offered.

Kid will enjoy and won’t get bored waiting in line to get in because there are often fun activities for them, including bubbles kiosk, spin art and temporary tattoos.

The grounds of the brightly painted factory include a number of unusual items for children to climb on, as well as a small playground and picnic tables. You can watch the cows in the pasture as you enjoy and ice cream-themed picnic.

For Moms out there on May 12, 2013 there will be a Free Cone and on June 16, 2013 there will be a Free Cone for Dads.

My Opinion

I am curious of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. There ice cream has a lot of seasoning and I want to try it. I want to have a tour to Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory.

Americans love ice cream, we love ice cream especially its summer.

Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is known for its unique French pot process that makes only two gallons of ice cream at a time, it’s a super creamy result.

For those in the area it’s a nice break if you tour at Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. The tour is just 30 minutes and you get to see the actual process of making ice cream.

The Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is 30 year old and continues to make ice cream and will offer a great taste of ice cream.

Once fact is the company has been progressive, non-partisan and humane. They pledge to buy milk from farmers who do not use growth hormones on their cows.

Ben and Jerry perseverance made them as successful business men. They conquer all the challenges when they started and now Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is a blast.

Their story is really fun to learn. And you must visit Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory especially if you have kids.
