Leann Rimes denies affair with co-star Eddie Cibrian. The two have been denying against a report claims they having an affair.

Rimes met Cibrian on the set of Northern Lights, which filmed in Calgary last November and December and co-stars Rosanna Arquette. It airs on March 21.

Cibrian and Rimes play love interests – he's a former Baltimore cop who moves to a remote Alaskan town and falls for Rimes's character, a feisty bush pilot, when he investigates her father's death.

Leann Rimes denies affair and wrote on her website that she and husband Deane Sheremet is not in good terms and they having been difficult time. Leann Rimes denies affair rumours on Live with Regis and Kelly.

She stated on the show that “Everything’s great – there’s rumors all the time,”

“Things pass, life happens,” she later added. “You know, everything people read is not … as easy as black and white. That’s what it is. I let it roll off my back most of the time.”

"I would never want to hurt my husband or anyone else with more lies dragged out in the press."

Meanwhile, Cibrian also said they are nothing more than friends and  they had just gone out for dinner one night while filming.

"It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship," Cibrian says in a statement

“LeAnn and I are friends, we went to dinner, that’s it. The most ridiculous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period … much less does it in a public place. The false accusations are obviously causing a rift at home, but I and my family will get through this together.”

A source told People magazine Leann Rimes denies affair is true. A Rimes friend said Leann and Eddie are not in a relationship.

"There are some feelings there but it's too early to tell if it's going to develop and if she's done with her marriage," says Rimes friend.

"[LeAnn and Dean] are figuring it out," says the friend. "They have a lot of mutual respect for one another."

"The situation that she's grappling with right now is not the cause for her marriage troubles," the friend continues. "There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set."

As what I heard recently Leann Rimes denies affair 4 years ago. They began in 2009 after they met on the set of the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” At that time the couple have respective marriage. Cibrian was married to reality star Brandi Glanville and Rimes was married to dancer-turned-food blogger Dean Sheremet.

After divorcing their respective            spouses the actor and the country singer tied the knot in April 2011.

LeAnn said: 'We were both married to other people and we went through the whole affair and thank god it turned out, it came out in my music and I like I said I really didn’t set out to do that. It was very cathartic.'

LeAnn Rimes says she has no regrets about her affair with Eddie Cibrian. She added that her decision to cheat on husband Dean Sheremet and have an affair with Eddie Cibrian is complicated and people shouldn’t rush to judgement.

Eddie opens up about falling in love with Leann for the first time.

“The truth is that we’re human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we’re human. We fell in love,” Eddie says.

He continues on saying, “We’re talking about something that’s over a year, year-and-a-half old, really, and we’re still together, and we’re madly in love. And I think people are finally seeing that, but it doesn’t mean that people will accept it or the tabloids will stop trying to print lies and try to tear us apart or tear us down.”

My Opinion

So Leann Rimes denies affair happened back in 2009. But the truth is she really had an affair with co-star Eddie Cibrian.

Leann Rimes denies affair because that time she is committed to her husband turned to be her ex-husband later in 2011.

Eddie Cibrian has also denying it because the reason was the same. He is committed to actress Brandi Glanville.

Leann Rimes denies affair was a mistake. She shouldn’t deny it, she is a celebrity and people will judge her.

It’s so weird that both ended up their respective spouse because they love each other. It’s very sad to the part of Brandi and Dean.

Leann chose to be with someone’s husband. It’s funny because Eddie Cibrian married her mistress.

It’s true that people commit mistake and sometime we fall in love with the wrong person. But it’s up to the person how to make it right.

In their case, I must say they fell in love to each other in a wrong time. But we can’t do anything, they in love with each other. The worse thing is they damage their ex-wife and ex-husband.

Poor Dean it’s really hard for him that Leann cheated on him and then she goes on television to talk about it and how she doesn’t regret it. I hope you moved on and be happy. Leann is not worth it for you. Someday you will find the right person for you.
