Crocodile Dundee missing $34M

Crocodile Dundee missing $34M
Hogan the actor of Crocodile Dundee missing $34M rose to fame back in 1986 with the first "Crocodile Dundee" film, which cost $10 million to make but earned more than $325 million in the worldwide box office, according to Forbes. That was followed up by two sequels.
Paul Hogan played the hit movie Crocodile Dundee missing $34M. The actor was baffled about how to get back his missing money.
Veteran actor of Crocodile Dundee missing $34M wants to get his money he alleges was stolen from him by a corrupt former financial adviser.
It is stashed in Switzerland by a tax expert named Philip Egglishaw, a man with an international arrest warrant on his head and a nickname straight from the movies -'the bowler hat Englishman.'
According to a international Consortium of Investigative Jounalists, Hogan held his money more than $34 million and Egglishaw helped Hogan deposit the money in a Swiss bank account.
Hogan owed more than $150 million in taxes and penalties to the Australian government. Hogan denied the allegations.
According to the report he hasn’t been in a film in years, he still managed to settle his tax evasion case confidentially with Australian officials last year.
Hogan and his wife are known for buying mansions, giving them stunning makeovers and selling them for a profit. Hogan has his real estate holdings to count on.
For the past year, there are no bank statements or accounts relating to the millions in the Carthage Trust.
What’s the worst part for Hogan, since Egglishaw was the one who established the account, Hogan has no access to the funds. The other signatory to the Carthage Trust account is in jail in Australia. He was Philip de Figueiredo. Figueiredo is serving a two-and-a-half year sentence after being found guilty of conspiring to defraud the Australian government of more than $4 million in tax.
De Figueiredo was Egglishaw's former business partner.
The 73 year old actor filed a lawsuit in a United States court as he tries to recover his $34 million.

Legal documents filed by Hogan's lawyers at the Californian District court claim Egglishaw "absconded with or spent all" the cash.
There is already an international warrant out for financial adviser Philip. Philip Egglishaw is known as the bowler hat Englishman.

Financial adviser Egglishaw set up elaborate corporate structures in various tax havens to help clients evade being taxed and of stealing Hogan’s money.
New court have come to a conclusion which state Crocodile Dundee missing $34M has been on the back in account number 379865 at the Corner Bank in Laussanne. Crocodile Dundee missing $34M stored for almost 20 years.
That is according to lawyers acting on behalf of the Carthage Trust - Hogan's personal tax vehicle based in the British Virgin Islands - and revealed by an exposé of tax havens by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, this month.
U.S. lawyer Schuyler Moore is the representative of Hogan sent correspondence to Egglishaw’s Geneva, Paul Gully-Hart a warning of severe consequences if the money will not be returned.
"The Carthage Trust's beneficiary [Hogan] is not going to stand idly by in the face of this theft, and he is going to take every step possible in every country possible to hold Egglishaw, Strachans, you, and your firm liable and brought to account," the attorney continued.
Egglishaw broke his silence and respond to allegations Crocodile Dundee missing $34M.
“It is a matter of public record that I have acted for various Australian clients … My firm is regulated, externally audited and operates openly in Switzerland,” Egglishaw said. “The accusations made in the media this week that I or my firm have stolen or inappropriately dealt with client funds are completely false and vehemently denied.”
Egglishaw said: “We are strictly following advice received from our Australian QCs to achieve an outcome satisfactory to our clients and the Australian authorities to allow repatriation of funds to Australia ensuring that all due taxes are met.”
My Opinion
Ohh this news is very horrible to actor Crocodile Dundee missing $34M. But on the other side, that’s what you get when you hide money from paying taxes. Hogan tried to cheat the tax but his adviser first cheated him.
Man! If you pay your tax it would have been cheaper than stolen a $34 million. Nowadays, you cannot easily trust anybody. They still hit you at the back!
Next time, hire an accountant that is not professional. Just kidding! But it’s true, if you hire a slick accountant well they are not wise enough to fool you. Just saying!
Crocodile Dundee missing $34M is really a lot of money. Many people will never get that kind of money. That’s the consequences if you try to hide the money from paying taxes. If you didn’t avoid taxes at least you have something to up to instead of nothing.
I hope Crocodile Dundee missing $34M will be back and lesson learned.
